Ox Mountain Sanitary Landfill – 12310 San Mateo Rd, Half Moon Bay

Although the landfill is open on Saturdays, the office is not. The landfill accepts cardboard, paper, plastic, glass, aluminum cans, used motor oil and transmission oil at no charge for recycling as a convenience to our customers. We now take mattresses and box springs at no charge, limit 4 per customer. History Established in 1976. A small individually owned dump was purchased in the 1970's by BFI, later sold to Allied waste in the 1990's and then finally to Republic Services in 2007. Currently a World Class Landfill managing many tons of waste daily.
