Trips for Kids – The Recyclery Bike Shop

Trips for Kids is a non-profit that accepts adult and children's bicycles as long as the frame is not rusted. Bikes can be dropped off at the Re-cyclery thrift shop in San Rafael. Accepted new and used bicycles, parts and accessories from individuals and manufacturers across the country.Sales from the shop provide 50% of our Bay Area under served youth programs’ funding. Bike donations are 100% tax-deductible and are either refurbished by our bike shop mechanics or salvaged for parts. Items that can’t be reused are recycled.Will be repaired or used for parts.Accepts bicycle related items such as helmets, bike tires, bike racks, shin guards, etc. All items must be in good condition and suitable for reuse. Recycling is available for bikes that are of poor quality or are not in reusable condition for a $10 fee. Call for details.
