Accepts: Prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, medication ointments and lotions, liquid medication in leak-proof containers, and pet medications. Place into zip lock bag. Drop off bin located near the office. Available only to San Leandro residents during hours of operation.Items not accepted: Controlled substances (Valium, Codeine, Vicodin), vitamins and dietary supplements, needles and sharps, aerosol cans and compressed gases, personal care products, mercury thermometers, medications from businesses, and empty containers.
