Household Hazardous Waste Program Palo Alto – City of Palo Alto

Palo Alto residents only and must provide ID. Accepts a wide variety of household hazardous waste. Hazardous waste drop-off is available every Saturday and the first Friday of each month. Does not accept: Large gas cylinders, Radioactive wastes, Infectious wastes (body tissues or fluids), E-waste, Explosive wastes (gun powder, marine flares, fireworks, or ammunition), or Controlled substances.There is a CA transportation limit of 15 gallons or 125 pounds of household hazardous waste per vehicle.
