The San Mateo County Sheriffs Office serves the County of San Mateo.They accept medications in any dosage in their original container or sealed bag.Items NOT accepted: herbal remedies, vitamins, supplements, cosmetics, other personal care products, compressed cylinders, aerosols, medical devices, sharps, illicit drugs, and iodine-containing medications.Accepts over the counter and prescription medication for drop-off.Drop off located on 3rd floor on the building. Place pills/capsules into a plastic bag and leave liquid medication in their original container.
